There are 2 ways to redeem vouchers on the GoToGuide Great Deals site. A customer will either present a paper voucher or present an emailed receipt/voucher.
RECEIVING PAPER VOUCHERS AND REDEEMING AT A LATER TIME:
Important information to verify when receiving a paper voucher:
a – has voucher expired? Paid value does not expire.
b – is voucher being redeemed in the right location?
c – is voucher code present?
1 – click on the menu item MY VOUCHERS on the GoToGuide Great Deals web site or type the following url http://greatdeals.gotoguide.net/my-account/ to login to your vendor account
2 – after successfully logging on you will be brought to the Check Voucher Code screen
3 – enter the voucher code as printed on the voucher you received earlier that day (not case sensitive) and click the “Check It” button
4 – verify that the deal name is the same on the printed voucher and the screen information. If it is click the “Redeem” button. Voucher will be marked as used and will not be able to be used again.
RECEIVING AN EMAIL/ELECTRONIC VOUCHER:
If a customer comes to you and says that they do not have the printed voucher but can show you the email on your phone you can still mark the voucher as redeemed immediately.
1 – Have the customer show you their email receipt. Verify that the location and deal applies to your location. If it does have the customer copy the voucher code in the email (generally holding the text with their finger on a touch screen will bring up a menu with options shown).
2 – have the customer login to their GoToGuide Great Deals account by entering the url http://greatdeals.gotoguide.net in their phone’s web browser. If they click MENU on top of the screen the following menu will be displayed.
3 – Have them login to their account and select the Check Voucher Code option from the menu
4 – Paste the code from the email they showed you in the box and click the “Check It” button. If the code is valid a screen will display with the deal details. If the deal matches the receipt click the “Redeem” button.
5 – if the code is not valid and has already been redeemed the following message will come up.
